Kidz About COVID-19 Statement
The safety and well-being of the Kidz About team and our visitors will always be our number one priority. We have always worked hard to operate a clean and safe venue, and in response to Covid-19, we have now increased our already high safety and hygiene measures.
Reduced Visitor Capacity
We have reduced our visitor numbers down to less than one third of our visitor capacity to provide even more space for you to enjoy a socially distanced visit at Kidz About.
All visitors now need to book a time slot online. Pre-booking means we can control visitor numbers, track and trace and have a safe, friendly environment for you and our staff.
Have Symptoms? Do not Visit
Please DO NOT VISIT us at Kidz About if you have symptoms of coronavirus including: a high temperature, persistent new cough and/or a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste.
Bubbles of 6
The new Government ruling that people cannot socialise in groups of more than 6 does apply to your visit to Kidz About. We understand your visit to us is often to socialise, but in order for us to remain open we must enforce that you remain in your bubble at all times. You cannot mix between tables/seating areas.
Card Payments Only
We are currently not accepting coins or bank notes on site. We’ve done this to keep you and our staff as safe as possible from Covid and also security reasons. Apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
Arrival at Kidz About
Please practice good social distancing etiquette whilst queuing to enter the building. On entry to the building, a face covering must be worn.
Socially Distanced Seating
We are lucky that Kidz About has plenty of space, so you can be comfortable that our seating area is well spaced out. We have organised our tables so that social distancing from other visitors can be maintained. When you are not eating and drinking a mask must be worn as per government guidelines.
Food and Drink
We have laminated menus that are cleaned after each visit. Wrapped cutlery and sauce sachets will be handed to you once food is ordered and we encourage contactless payments whenever possible. Please social distance and wear a mask when queuing at the counter.
We ask all of our customers to comply with the Government ruling regarding face coverings for indoor play centres. As a reminder, the current ruling is that adult customers and children aged 11 and over are required to wear a face covering before entering and keep it on until they leave, except when eating or drinking at your table. We have asked our staff to monitor this, so please don’t be offended if you are asked to wear your mask.
We have installed Perspex screens at our reception area, and at the café too. This is to protect both our team and our customers.
We have additional hand sanitising stations throughout the premises so you’re never too far away from somewhere you can sanitise you and your little ones hands. Please use these regularly. We will also ask you to sanitise your hands when you enter the building and when you leave.
Team members will be cleaning door handles and other touch points regularly throughout your visit.
At night, the building is sanitised with antibacterial fogging equipment. The fogging machine creates an antibacterial coating on all surfaces that lasts for several days, reactivating upon contact making our equipment safer than ever.
